How can I get through another day?

Therapy for all stages of motherhood

“I never imagined it would be this hard.”

Do you find yourself saying, “I never imagined it would be this hard.” Maybe you think to yourself, “am I even a good mother?”

Motherhood is hard. Societal pressures on women set us up to fail, at least in our own heads. Whether you are:

  • Pre-motherhood by choice or biology

  • Pregnant and needing support

  • Experiencing postpartum symptoms

  • Past the postpartum stage yet struggling in some way

  • A seasoned mom making her way through the stages of life

  • A step-mother navigating all the challenges of blended families

You are Not alone. Therapy can help.

Successful mothers are not the ones that never struggled. They are the ones that never give up, despite the struggles. -Sharon Jaynes

Life doesn’t have to feel this way.

Put down the social media! Depictions of motherhood on social media do not serve us.

Are you feeling physically, emotionally, mentally exhausted? Touched out and overstimulated? You are All the things to All the people in your life. Where and when do you get a break? You are at your wit’s end.

This doesn’t have to be your experience however. You deserve more. It’s time to focus more on your well-being. The healthier you are, the healthier your family will be. Let’s work on this together.

I have been there myself. The stress of motherhood can affect anyone. I dreamed for years of getting pregnant and being a mother then reality hit and was very different than I imagined. Pregnancy was not what I had envisioned and then once my daughter was born, postpartum depression and anxiety came on quickly. With family, friend support and therapy I got healthy and whole. You can too.
